GalaxyFest began in 2012. A full 3-day pop culture convention that is so much more than just a comiccon. It is a celebration.
What began as a festival and a celebration became a staple for all pop culture genres and the community.
By day there were vendors, panels, stage shows, celebrities. By night, AfterDark, it was adults only with body painting, fashion shows, drag shows, bands, comedy and more.
Natso Mini-Con was started in 2024 as a small event supporting the pop culture in Colorado Springs, CO.
It is named after the idea that this con was Not So mini anymore. The first mini-con was in a small space and had only 10 vendors.
Natso Mini-Con now takes place quarterly.
The Mission: Get back to a full size GalaxyFest.
A small or mini con started in 2022. To bring GalaxyFest back in a small way, Mini-Con was created to be affordable for the vendors and to bring attention to a local bar in Colorado Springs, CO.
It was successful and gave the GalaxyFest family a chance to reconnect after Covid.
Because it outgrew the venue, it was transformed into Natso Mini-Con.
